Khaleel Umar Al -Makura, the son of Nasarawa state Governor Umar Al – Makura, is to appear before the court of law to answer questions related to the killing a JSS 2 student of Government Science School, Lafia.
The State Commissioner of Police Abubakar Sadiq Bello who disclosed this to newsmen in Lafia, said as soon as investigation is concluded the culprit would be charge to court.
According to the Commissioner, the culprit slept at the police cell and is still in detention pending the completion of investigation.
Bello, therefore, assured members of the public that the police would do everything possible to protect lives and properties of the people.
The State Police Command said it would prosecute the culprit that killed the student of Government Science School Lafia.
The Governors son who on last Sunday night, while he was allegedly returning from a night club drunk killed the late student. The death of the student, Amos Ovye continued to generate sympathy and condemnation by many with information littering the state that Amos is the only son of his parents.
According to a family source, the diseased student was the only child of the family and the death of the boy is causing a lot of trauma in the family.
The said student had already been buried at Mada Station village of Nassarawa-Eggon Local Government Area of the state on 20th March 2017.
